I recently got my hands on a power slice charging station. The power slice charging station allows you to charge up to 4 devices at once. Essentially replacing that power strip full of charges for every electronic device you have.
The Power Slice is sold in pieces, the base station and then you purchase up to three slices you connect up to the base station. These slices have various different ports to charge your multiple devices. My power slice came with an iPhone/iPod slice, a microUSB slice and a miniUSB slice. These three slices allow me to charge my iPhone, Blackberry and my clear internet hotspot simultaneously while only using one one outlet. The power slice also has a USB port that allows you to charge devices that don’t require a lot of power. It warns that the USB port will not charge a smart phone but I have been able to charge my Samsung infuse using that port. So in total 4 devices charging at once.
It’s also a nice looking device. Just look at the image below. It’s something you can place on a corner table. The way it positions my iPhone for example allows me to quickly access my music. It looked so cool that I attached portable speakers via the headphone jack on my iPhone and listen to music while I charge it.
It also seems to charge my devices as quickly as the original plugs do, with a lot less clutter.
Overall with the style, ease of use and just out right coolness the power slice in my opinion is a must have for any technology junkie like myself.
