Norton Issues Warning on the Following Android Apps

Earlier this week Norton informed the world that cybercriminals were targeting smartphones by releasing apps ridden with malware into unofficial Android Marketplaces. Now they announce that cybercriminals have actually infiltrated the official Android Market using various publisher and application names.

According to Symantec Sources 50,000 – 200,000 took place within a four day time frame when the malicious apps were on the Android Marketplace. Google has since removed the apps.

If you have downloaded one of the following Apps remove it now:

• Falling Down

• Super Guitar Solo

• Super History Eraser

• Photo Editor

• Super Ringtone Maker

• Super Sex Positions

• Hot Sexy Videos

• Chess

• Scientific Calculator

• Dice Roller

• Advanced Currency Converter

• Funny Paint

• Spider Man
