Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S715i for iPhone/iPods

Today Logitech announced their brand new Rechargeable Speaker System the S715i an upgrade to the S315i which they launched last year in July. The new S715i has a more stylish an sleek design and is also certified in the made for Apple program.

Logitech was kind enough to send me a review sample and for the past few hours I have been playing with it non stop and I have to say the sound quality is a lot better than the old version which I liked and reviewed last year.

s715iAs you can see from the image the S715i is a long set of speakers, its long because it needs room for the six speakers and sub woofers that are packed into its thin frame.

The first thing I did with the S715i was attach my iPhone to it and jam to some music. I was pretty impressed with the sound quality right away. Having used the previous version the S351i I knew to expect a good quality sound but what I got was superb. I have always been impressed with the way Logitech puts together their speakers the sound is always crystal clear.

The S715i is also rechargeable, so no need for batteries or keeping it plugged into a power outlet making it perfect for taking it with you to the beach or on a picnic. It is however to big to stick in a brief case. It comes with a remote which is able to control the iPod and iPhone I tested it with however its so small I’d probably lose it if I took it out of my home.

If you want to connect other devices such as a Zune or a CD Player you can as there is an AUX port in the back of the system just below the power plug port.

Overall the Logitech S715i is a great little speaker system for your iPod or iPhone and I recommend it to anyone who likes to go to the beach or just party out doors. I say its Jersey Shore Worthy! The price of the S715i is $149.99 but I am sure you will be able to find it cheaper. For more information visit http://www.logitech.com
