Today Lenovo announced a new workstation the Thinkstation E30 and a new Desktop the ThinkCentre M81 for businesses. Lenovo promises to deliver speedy boot-up and shut down times with these two systems which are powered by the latest intel processors.
“Workstation users need the kind of performance that lets them do more each minute. The ThinkStation E30 workstation builds on our strong workstation platform, combining new rapid processing for data-crunching with more vivid and intense graphics capabilities,” said Tao Gu, executive director and general manager, Workstation Business Unit, Lenovo. “We created the ThinkStation E30 workstation to offer extremely powerful processing on a software-certified solution at desktop prices.”
The ThinkStation E30 replaces the E20 and powered by second generation allowing up to 4 cores of processing power when going with an Intel Xeon processor. The E30 will also be available with an 80 or 160 SSD drive instead of your traditional platter drive with super fast SATA III connections. The E30 will also have USB 3.0. For the filmmakers out there the E30 will also be available with a NVIDIA Quadro or NVS graphics card.
The ThinkCentre M81 will be available in a Tower Form Factor or Small form factor and will offer up to 160 GB of SSD Storage. It will also feature SATA III and USB 3.0 connections.
