HP today revealed some pretty cool consumer notebook PCs from the Pavilion dm3 which is great for back to school to the ENVY 17 3D that any entertainment enthusiest will love, theres pretty much something from everyone coming out of HP today. There is even a new TV connect device that will allow you to stream content form your notebooks to your television wirelessly.
“With these new technology and design enhancements, we offer customers visually stunning entertainment and an overall better computing experience. These new HP notebooks and accessories deliver breakthrough technology, power and advanced styling to satisfy the most discerning user.” said Kevin Frost VP and GM Consumer Notebooks and Personal Sstems Group at HP.
Lets start off with the HP ENVY 17 3D which of course features 3-D technology which you probably knew from the name. The system also features a HP Triple Bass Reflex Subwoofer and Beats Audio giving you a complete entertainment experience and ofcourse it also comes with 3D active shutter glasses. Some ENVY 17 3D systems will also be pre-loaded with NBA All-Star game content from the 2010 all star game along with a trailer for “MEGAMIND” a new animated movie from Dreamworks, both in 3D. Sadly the system does not come with a 3D player or HD input.
The HP ENVY 17 3D looks as stunning as other ENVY models with a etched brushed aluminum finish. The System will be powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 graphics and come with up to 2 TB of Storage. Check out the Video below for some more information on the Envy 17 3D.
I was able to play around with an ENVY 17 3D a few weeks ago and I still am smiling thats how great of a system it was.
The ENVY 17 3D isn’t the only new ENVY, HP also revealed the ENVY 14 Beats edition which is designed to offer the best audio quality one could desire. The ENVY 14 Beats features Beats Audio a technology created by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre. The system has similar characteristics to the rest of the ENVY Systems but its all black with a red design on the lid.
I also was able to play with the ENVY 14 Beats a few weeks ago and I have to say it did have great sound quality. Check out the video below for more information on the ENVY 14 Beats.
Now lets talk about the Pavilion dm3, and while not top of the line like the ENVY systems HP announced today, the dm3 is pretty sweet little system, and I say little litterally as its thin and light weight.
The dm3 features a 13.3 inch widescreen display and delivers up to 7.5 hours of battery life. It also has a cool feature called CoolSense which allows the notebook to disable its fans when they are not needed, which allows you to obtain that 7.5 hours of battery life. The dm3 is also a sexy little machine. Check out the video below for more information on the dm3.
My favorite product from HP announced today is the wireless TV connect, which will allow users to stream wirelessly to their televisions HD content. There’s really nothing else to say about it other than its freaking cool. Again check the video below for more info and Christmas is coming soon and just letting you all know this is what I want, the Wireless TV connect!
