Holiday Gift Guide!

Happy Holidays everyone, it’s that time of the year my favorite time of the year its CHRISTMAS!

So again this year we bring you the top ten gadgets your GEEK wants for Christmas. Some items are marked with this image “” it simply means it made the Cutegeek.com Holiday Gift Guide as well.

The first item on the list, also made our list last year and as you can tell by the icon it made the CuteGeek.com gift guide this year. Tthe Xbox 360 with Kinect. The Kinect is the most amazing game console on the market, it does what I think Nintendo wanted to do with the Wii and PlayStation wanted to do with those ice-cream cones of theirs.

The Kinect turns you into the controller which sounds as fun as it is. With the Xbox 360 Kinect there is no need to hold onto any controllers and or tie those controllers to your wrist, because as you, your body is the controller. You can use the movement of your hands to scroll through various screens, your body to control the characters on-screen and your voice can tell the Xbox what to do.

It is my favorite product this year, and that is why it made our list, the CuteGeek.com list and both list last year. It also made Radiris Diaz from CuteGeek.com “What I want from BestBuy.com” list.

The next and number two on the list is the Jawbone Era which also made the CuteGeek.com holiday list. The Jawbone Era is one of the best if not the best Bluetooth headset on the market. What makes it the best is the “NoiseAssassin” feature which really works. The Noise Assassin feature kills any background noise around you making it easier for the person you’re talking to, to hear you. You won’t be asked to repeat yourself when you use the Era.

It also has HD audio. High Definition audio will play your music and videos in full spectrum. It is like having a mini theater in your ear.

There is even an android app to help you save battery of your Bluetooth device. It’s also available in 4 colors, check them out the four colors in the image to the right.

Number three on the list is something you’ll find at ToshibaDirect.com, is the 21.5” DX1210 All in 1 PC. The DX1210 is a powerful all in one PC with Touchscreen display. Thanks to the Intel Core i7 processor inside the 1210 you, and everyone else who uses it won’t have a problem gaming, watching movies and doing what ever else you may need to do on your PC.

The DX1210 comes with a wireless keyboard and Mouse, that match the DX1210 perfectly. The system will pretty much match any home décor. I know guys like me don’t really care how something looks but the ladies will love the DX1210 as it will look great next to anything.

Number 4 on the list is the remedy for a problem many geeks face, and that’s getting Wi-Fi to every corner of their home with out multiple routers or extenders. Dlink has a solution for that, at least it was a solution in my case. The Dlink Whole Home Wi-Fi Router 1000, is a wireless N router which is capable of delivering a Wi-Fi Signal throughout your entire home.

I live in an apartment and using another Dlink router and a Netgear Extender I had 3 dead zones on my wireless network. After removing those routers and using the Dlink Whole Home. My dead zones are dead no more although the signal in those areas aren’t the strongest. I am even able to get signal outside of my home up to have a block away.

Fifth on the list is that phone everyone wants, the iPhone 4s. I doubt I have to tell you how great it is or how easier it will make your life so I won’t. All I will say is I think Sprint has the best package for it.

Oh the iPhone 4s how beautiful you are! Again SPRINT has the best package for it, so if you are going to get one and you can, I say go SPRINT!

Sixth on the list is for the lazy geek in all of us, and it’s the MINT Hard Floor Cleaner. All we have to do is put a cloth onto the Mint Robot and it will clean our floors. We do have to pick up the big things but since its so cool to have a Robot clean for you, we are sure to get off our butts and out of our desk chairs to set the MINT Hard Floor Cleaner to clean our floors.

Now for the seventh item on the list, and I guess we can say this is some shameless self promotion by me and it isn’t even a tech gadget. But what Geek wouldn’t want a book written by me?

I wrote a book and its available on Amazon.com It would make a great stocking stuffer. You can buy the book directly from me at Reyes Books, or from Amazon.com. A kindle version and Nook version are also available.

Now that I pimped my book the 8th and 9th item will help you read eBooks and why not buy an eBook reader to read my book? The Amazon Kindle Fire and the Barns and Noble Nook color are both great eBook readers. Julliette over at CuteGeek.com loved the Kindle Fire and last I checked she reads tons on it, and I love my Nook color but the Nook Tablet would be hot to have! I think it’s a toss-up between the two and suggest if you want to get an eBook reader for someone ask them which of these two they would want.

Now the 10th item on the list is the Samsung Solid State 830 drive. It’s also probably the geekiest thing on the list.

The 830 series drive will add so much performance to the geek in your life PC that he will get things done faster. So if you are his or her gf/bf they will have more time to spend with you!
