Congrats! I watched the entire match and itw as awsome, Leenock almost lost it and won it. Reminded me of the 2006 Red Sox or was it 2004.

It’s day 2 of the Major League Gaming Championships in Providence Rhode Island and today is going to be a busy day for a lot of gamers who will battle it out for $100,000.

I have my badges and I am headed to the show floor now, I want to keep an eye on the Halo Reach competition. If anyone is at the show stop by the Sony Ericsson booth and check out the Xperia Play, that phone rocks!

Today was my first day at the MLG event here in Providence Rhode Island, and I have to say I am impressed with the intensity of the gamers.

While at the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play for at&t booth I was able to catch up with two of MLG’s most popular gamers, Bravo and TLO. Myself and Faro from empirestategamer.com interviewed both, and had fun at the same time.

Each collectible blind box will be sold for $9.99 contains 1 of 8 collectible plush toys chosen at random (oh fun!), a 10 farm cash card and an exclusive in-game animal.

Radiris Diaz from CuteGeek.com and I attended the launch party for the much-anticipated Gears of War 3 at the best buy theater in New York City’s Times Square.

The line of fans waiting for the game went around an entire city block as Best Buy and Microsoft gave away prizes and gifts to those who were in line. Some were even given upgrades to the front of the line, so they could be one of the first to buy the game and others were given bags with the Gears of War 3 logo on them.

On Tuesday 2KPlay will launch a new game for kids “Carnival Games Monkey See Monkey Do”. The game is for the Kinect on the Xbox 360. While I am a huge Kinect fan I personally am not a huge fan of kid games I decided to check it out. I saw a demo and got my hands on an early copy.

On my way home I stopped at the super market, picked up some corn dogs, hamburgers and hot dogs, and soon as I got home, I cooked them, lowered the shades on my windows, closed the curtains and turned off my cell phone and began to play.
