Dell partners with MLB and O P I

Yesterday Dell announced a partnership with MLB and O P I the nail polish maker. They announced that they will be releasing notebooks that you can customize with your favorite baseball teams logo or with 6 of the most popular colors from the O P I nail polish line which have whitty names like “I’m not really a waitress Red”.

At the press conference there didn’t seem to be much excitement about the announcement, although I have to say the Mets laptop was pretty cool! I’m a huge Mets fan. But at the same time I don’t think I want to own a notebook that is permanently covered in Mets logos.

Adamo XPS

Today Dell launched a new landing page aimed at offering users a glimpse into their new thin 9.99-mm Adamo by Dell Concept.

However the website they created offers no real information on the device just a form to get their newsletter. If those of you are curious about the “Fall in love with” wording on the landing page, it is there because Adamo is “to fall in love with” in latin.

To check out the site visit: http://www.dell.com/AdamoXPS

Dell has promised to donate $5 (USD) to the to Susan G. Komen for the Cure to help find a cure for breast cancer.

Dell has promised to donate a minimum of $25,000, but has not set a maximum donation so I guess they will donate as much money as units they sell, which is actually an admiral thing, most companies place a maximum cut off on these types of donations.
