Because of the service outage last week, Blackberry has said it will give its users free premium apps valued up to $100. The apps will be available starting October 19th and will remain free for 4 weeks. Blackberry has also said enterprise customers will get one free month of Technical Support.

Millions of Blackberry customers around the world were left with out email for up to a day,

Today Research in Motion, the makers of Blackberry Smartphones announced three new Blackberry Curves. The 9350, the 9360 and the 9370.

The new Curves feature a slimmer design, GPS and Wi-Fi, 5 MP camera with built in Flash (video recording supported), MicroSD/SDHC slot supporting up to 32 GB memory cards and all will run the new Blackberry OS 7.0 which features better web browsing, voice activated universal search, smoother navigation and pre-loaded with the premium version of documents to go.

The BlackBerry Curve 9350, 9360 and 9370 smartphones are expected to be available in Canada this month and from other carriers around the world beginning in September.
