In Berlin HP introduced the dv4, dv5 and dv7 line of notebooks, and I have to say they are beautiful, they all have a mirror like finish to die for as a friend of mines said when she saw a picture of them.
The notebooks come in three sizes, 14.1, 15.4 and 17 inches and they all feature the same stunning design. HP says they have been designed to catch your eye and indeed they do, everything from the area surrounding the keyboard, to the keyboard grill and touchpad have a shinny mirror finish that makes you afraid to touch it and leave finger prints on it. Just an FYI during a demo of the machine loads of people had already used it and there were hardly any smears on it. I did wipe it with a dry cloth and it was as shiney as the day it was born.

They also feature Protectsmart. What is protectsmart? Well if you drop your laptop it locks the harddrive and protects it so that you don’t lose your data. The notebooks also have combo eSata/USB ports. So if you have eSata you can use it and if you don’t well you can still use it.
All of the notebooks feature a 720p HD screen and when looking at the systems in person each screen delivered a crisp picture, and even the built in webcam had a nice PQ.
