Microsoft “Year of the Dragon” Mice

2Microsoft today showed off three new mice they have created with the help of two Chinese artist to celebrate the  2012 Chinese New Year. The three mice are limited edition so if you like them snatch them up.

Two Wireless Mobile 3500 Mice, feature artwork designed by Nod Young, who was inspired by the Dragon Ball Z cartoon. My girlfriend would love his mice as she loves Dragon Ball!

Artist Lin Xu incorporated a five-finger claw into his design on the Arc Touch Mouse. The five-finger claw symbolizes nobleness.

The Wireless Mobile Mice 3500 are available now for $34.95 in both the red and gold (designs are the same), and the Arch Touch Mouse will be available soon for $69.95. No exact date as to when it will be available. All three mice would make great holiday gifts too!

Give the Gift of Getting Paid

gifts-large[1]If you have an iPhone or Android device you most likely know about the free credit card processor Square.

Square which became popular due to the iPhone television commercials allows users to accept credit card payments on their iPhone, iOS or Android device. You can easily set up discounts and coupon codes through their web interface, and quite a few people I know use the service to sell things. There is a coffee shop near me that uses it exclusively.

Everything is free from the service to the card reader. Now you can gift the reader to a friend or a family member.

What better gift to give this holiday season in this economy than the gift of getting paid? The cost of the reader is free, but there is a cost to gift wrap it click here for more info. Gift wrapping will cost you $1 to gift wrap it.

We Rely too Much on Broadband.

World_Wide_Web_(The%20Internet)_%20[1]I was speaking to a friend in the UK today who is stuck on dial-up because her broadband service hasn’t worked in a week. She’s going crazy because of it and I have teased her. I know very unfriendly of me.

Well after I made fun of her, I went back to browsing the web when the unimaginable happened. I LOST MY CONNECTION. I rebooted my router to no avail, I checked my cables and made sure my wi-fi signal was strong which it was.I then ran over to the modem and to my dismay, the “Online” button was blinking, which means no connection.

I was lost, I had no idea what to do. I had mobile broadband but screw 4G I wanted my 30 Mbps cable connection.

Pantech Pocket for AT&T

731853c93b36135279ed0abb2c09dada485e4014[1]Pantech has come out with a new android smartphone (Gingerbread 2.3) for at&t called the Pocket, and I am starting to think they should have called this smartphone the Pocket Tablet, the huge screen gives it a form factor that resembles that of a miniature tablet running android. When the phone arrived on my door step a week ago, my girlfriend was the first person to see it and since then she has switched from Boost Mobile to AT&T because of it. I haven’t even played with it yet and probably never will because trust me she isn’t giving it up. She also said the phone reminded her of me, unique and chubby.

The Pantech Pocket features a 4” 1280x720p HD touch screen which is about 20% wider than other smart phones with similar sized screens, a 5 megapixel camera. It doesn’t come with much internal memory but it is expandable up to 32GB via microSD. Battery life is advertised as 3 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time. Girlfriend claims she was able to talk more than that.
